John's LLC with input from the Krewe Allons committee provides the framework for the the NIL collective. The committee meets regularly to discuss exactly what the expectations and plans are for the collective.

We need to be. We are roughly $750k behind the SBC leaders in NIL.

Interest in that basketball is taking the lead in the NIL initiative. The October 12 event will likely sell out. Goal of 150 grand raised is likely to be exceeded. Getting the ex players involved is probably part of the reason for the early success. I know the basketball staff and administration want to bring new people beyond the regular Rebounders folk into this effort. The ex players probably help with that. Also, timing may be a reason basketball is first with this initiative as their season is a few weeks away. I understand football will have events down the road. Their NIL needs are substantial, obviously greater than basketball due to roster numbers. However hard to do while staff and players are so focused on doing what it takes to have a successful season. I bet their event may occur during spring practice.
