I, tried to tell you guys last year you pay peanuts you get monkeys. If I wanted to watch a high school coach and coaching staff I would go watch Mabank High, Forney High, North Vermilion High, Abbeville High, etc. Entry level coaching gets the Cajuns entry level results. Maggard had a chance to strike while the iron was hot and dropped the ball. When only 12K folks go to the next game they will only have them selves to blame. The renovations of Cajun Field will be the biggest blunder in all of sports when only 12K will be in a new 36K stadium. Yall got the prodigal son courtesy of the good ole boy system. I never would have hired him, but it does no good to focus on that now.

Someone mentioned starting over. Worst case scenario we will do that in a couple years.

On the bright side, we will have a new stadium to go along with it.

As long as we don’t fall to toothpick level, it won’t be hard to sell this program if we have to later.

Forced by the admin or not, if Des doesn’t learn very quickly and turn this around, Maggard may have killed his own career trajectory. It’s apparent that our school wasn’t serious about having a good football program.
