Are you saying the man's program didn't win? He probably was unpaid being in a private school to start with. What have they won since he got booted?

If you just want to try out to play freshman baseball at TC you had to go to 2 different Mike Tibodeaux camps as an eighth grader. One in the late fall and one during the Easter break. They each cost 250. Thats 500 bucks just to try out for a high school team. In high school you should not have to pay the coach directly to try out. I bet you don’t pay at Barbe and they win an awful lot.

That’s just try outs. That doesn’t even touch the 1000s you will pay over every the summer. Check maid payable to man the personally.

How many checks have you written to the man? I’ll go on a limb and say I know a little more than you on those finances.

TC is the only school that does that? Barbe is a public school so you can't compare them. Some public schools charge an athletic fee just to participate in a sport. What was Mike base salary from the school?

From what I was told one of the reasons the Cheer coach got let go is because she was charging the parents a coaching fee and the school was paying her a salary. It didn’t sit well with the principal. She was a non faculty paid coach. FYI.

In cheer there are many cheer coaches in the private sector better than lots of colleges. It’s a funny thing to try to figure out.

In everything is seems. See also travel ball, see also private passing coaches, etc etc etc, see also business consultants, ACT/SAT tutors, CPA review course taught by school acctg profs on separate clock and fee (but using school resources and connections)
