Anyone that UL hired that was an assistant at TC and was let go is a bad hire.

Not necessarily. She was an ex college cheerleader, that had great success coaching in the private sector of cheer. She was assisting a coach who has won national championship to help her raise her team to the next level. The head coach that got let go wasn’t because of lack of success on the cheer matte. It was some parental differences I won’t get into because I am a few years removed and it’s hear say to me.

In cheer there are many cheer coaches in the private sector better than lots of colleges. It’s a funny thing to try to figure out.

Same parental differences that got Mike out as baseball coach? Freshman parents with that $$$ wanted there kids playing. Mike doesn't play that who has money crap and he was booted. Some of those private schools think there Poo Poo doesn't stink.

Don’t get me started on Mike and dollars. I have never felt more raped as a man, as I did with the amount of checks I made payable to that man, for the little while my son played baseball. You want to talk about a coach that exploited parents for money. That was the definition.

It wasn’t pay for play with Thib. But you are headed in the right direction. The cheer coach was a lot like Thib. Cheer and Baseball were probably the 2 toughest coaches at the school. As I used to say they liked to mind ____ those kids in some of the things they did.

Bull. He unnecessarily took advantage of parents. You had to experience it to understand. There is a reason he did not get another coaching job when he left TC. He couldn’t take the pay cut and be paid like a regular coach. He was probably the highest paid coach in Lafayette parish and his bosses had no clue.

From what I was told one of the reasons the Cheer coach got let go is because she was charging the parents a coaching fee and the school was paying her a salary. It didn’t sit well with the principal. She was a non faculty paid coach. FYI.

Are you saying the man's program didn't win? He probably was unpaid being in a private school to start with. What have they won since he got booted?
