This weekend I was talking to KK Jr as the apple of his eye is currently a UL cheerleader. For those that don’t KNOW cheer got a new coach this year that I think moved up from the HS ranks. That coach told the cheerleaders that they can no longer use LOUISIANA in their cheers and they had to remove the LOUISIANA lettering from on there megaphones and replace it with the stacked Ragin Cajuns logo. In all cheers LOUISIANA has been replaced with Ragin Cajuns.

Her reasoning for doing this as explained to the cheer team is any school in the state can claim Louisiana and we are not the only school in Louisiana. The cheer team did not agree and did give some push back. Don’t know if what the final out come will be yet.

Really. I’m not one of the ones ragging on Marley, Masgard, Desormeaux, players leaving for whatever reason, etc as many on here have/do. But by all means, whatever makes you feel good.
