No LOUISIANA for Cheer Team

But I remind all of you.

We have a primary, secondary and tertiary logos.

The primary is stacked Ragin' Cajuns.
The secondary is Lousiana.
The tertiary is the fleur de lis.

Does that mean the ball cap that Robe used from 2000 until his passing is gone for good? My personal favorite.

Yes. Pretty sure we wore them while Robe was alive and then they went away.

Don’t know who stuck their “bravado” in the freezer, but it’s been noted the stacked Ragin Cajuns is painted somewhere on campus. And last season it was noted the spring sports were pretty much Cajuns.

What’s the impetus for this? Once is a fluke, second a coincidence, third time where staff kills Louisiana, time to get to the bottom of this.

Reminds me of New Coke marketing and formula flop. We had to go back to Coke Classic formula, and finally Coke.

We are Louisiana first and last, our team is Louisiana Ragin’Cajuns, and UL in shorten terms. I understand that they can’t copyright Louisiana only. That’s why we should always include Ragin’Cajun big and small on attire.

This weekend I was talking to KK Jr as the apple of his eye is currently a UL cheerleader. For those that don’t KNOW cheer got a new coach this year that I think moved up from the HS ranks. That coach told the cheerleaders that they can no longer use LOUISIANA in their cheers and they had to remove the LOUISIANA lettering from on there megaphones and replace it with the stacked Ragin Cajuns logo. In all cheers LOUISIANA has been replaced with Ragin Cajuns.

Her reasoning for doing this as explained to the cheer team is any school in the state can claim Louisiana and we are not the only school in Louisiana. The cheer team did not agree and did give some push back. Don’t know if what the final out come will be yet.

Did T-Joe approve this , that’s the question. Who hired her, secondly?
