Beating a women and driving home from the bulldog after a few beers. What’s the difference? Most of us can say we did the later. I hope most of us didn’t batter a women.

Sticking with baseball if I were Des I’d ask WWRD. What Would Robe Do? See Logan Quayare (spelling?) case. He had same issues and was given an opportunity like Gabriel had to earn his way back. However he chose to go to Oklahoma. I don’t think he was arrested, his battery was reported to Robe by Evette as the victim was one of her players.

Good point. And why are lodging accommodations paid for in between semesters for athletes but not for academic scholarship students

If this situation is resolved and he’s found not guilty or whatever, if he ends up back on the team at some point. The Dez haters will have their pitchforks ready.

I don’t think anyone would have a problem with someone being with their girlfriend the week before camp. With the current structure as it was last season many were doing the same during camp last year. By same I mean with their girl friend, not beating their girl friend.

A DWI is a misdemeanor unless you injure or kill someone else. I couldn't see what the charges would be for LL2 because of the great paywall in front of it but DWI, IMO, should not be an offense worthy of kicking someone off the team unless it was a habitual thing or they created harm.
