Kentucky
my sources are saying Kentucky or Texas,
One is different than the other . . .
Oklahoma could be in the mix as well
Chemistry does strike in a bottle but not very often in single year moves.
I hope JB doesn’t cost himself in the long run for a one year NIL and void.
I hate college sports now. Seriously considering finding something better to do with my time, money, and emotions
He is headed to his 4th school
Agree. I’ll stick around for the spring sports but I’ve mostly already moved on from college football. I was excited about Cajuns hoops this year until this news came out.
Once baseball gets to the same point, I’ll be done. I think UL is a place where you won’t lose guys to the “elites”. But the way they are pillaging the smaller conferences, it’ll continue to be even more difficult to beat those teams.
I’ve seen literally dozens of portal news of guys at mid level conference schools that had incredible stats. Tons of guys that hit .350+ with double digit HRs hitting the portal and will all likely end up in the SEC or ACC. Those two conferences hosted 12 of 16 regionals this year. With this rate of transfers continuing to stack the rosters at those places, it’ll soon become the SEC/ACC challenge, with a random Pac12 or Big 12 team having a seat at the table. Everyone else will just be there to fill the bracket.
It’s sad what college athletics is becoming.
