Why not Johnson, seemed like he had good things to say about us. I think they actually made a great hire with that move. I haven't really followed SEC baseball so maybe I'm missing something. A large portion of their fans/media I agree 100%.

Interesting, I really don't know much about him. I give them props for going outside the "South" and making a west coast hire.

Back to our Cajuns, has this team really started to take on Deggs' personality more so than the first three years? Are we seeing a continuation from how last season ended? Our style of play is damn exciting, we run into some outs but we keep the pressure on teams that are not used to this type of game. If I were a top regional seed I would not want to see us in the bracket! Looks like we are only a couple big time pitchers away from getting back to the level most of us expect, put a Friday ace on this team and we are talking about a 1 or 2 regional seed type team.

I'm still enjoying the win over the Tigers today. LSU fans are upset and making fun of us but I don't care. LSU has a very good team and an explosive offense and will likely compete for the national championship. Their fans that feel a need to belittle us and ULL or USL us relentlessly need to take a chill pill and move on. For me, I'm going to continue to enjoy the University of Louisiana victory and look forward to the weekend's series.

That was an amazing pitcher/batter battle. Loved how Crews walked off immediately knowing he got got. Credit to Crews too, the TSAB games I've watched - he is the real deal.

He is a pocket sized Mike Trout. Future 5-10 time All Star. Watch him take BP online. Squares up everything.

You think it’s alright to tell our people they have a little brother complex if “unsolicited” jabs are thrown at LSU, but I don’t hear a peep from you every single time there’s a national story with LOUISIANA mentioned and it’s nothing but P&G in the comments. I have no problem with people who would rather worry about their own people than others, but there’s a line between talking TO people and talking DOWN to them.

As far as the baseball portion of your post, I agree. That was the comical portion of the WS comments from LSU fans last night. Most fans I know were happy with the win but still more concerned with our inconsistent play to this point in the season.

I think he was implying that you don't say anything when LSU fans make disparaging remarks when a national story or national tweet about "Louisiana" is mentioned (ex. "They're ULALA not Louisiana") and has nothing to do with LSU but want to get on UL fans for the jabs thrown at LSU for the same thing.

At least that's what I think he meant.

Last year was the first....and a lot of those same guys are back this year. He's got the Alpha Dogs he wants. I can tell you from spending some time with them, they've bought in big time.
