SBC 2023 cross division football games

Given UL’s game against New Mexico State is likely cancelled, FBS teams with an opening include Baylor, Miami, Ohio, SDSU, and SMU. UL would likely want to avoid a 2nd FCS game but may not have a choice if they can’t get something with one of these teams.

We need a home game. If we can’t get one of those, invite Southern if possible, but I am sure Southern’s schedule is locked up already. Will be a sell out. What FCS teams actually have an opening? Sets the bar for at least having to be 7-5. Right? Do not give up the home game.

I am not so sure that we would have a sell out with Southern. Lafayette doesn't care much about Cajuns football.
