You are right because that guys comments shows he actually knows a little bit about how a college program works. Your comments are just things like apples and oranges, or quit being a Scrooge, or please tell me your degree from Louisiana, or go play with your self, or so you truly can’t read, or please don’t participate in self flattery. You offer absolutely nothing to the conversation going on about scheduling to butts in the seats. Go read your own comments you sound like a little name calling teen age girl Bob.

You said this:"I said it benefits in intangible ways . . . I never said that every game would move the needle in each intangible . . . take each intangible I identified and ask the question would it be better one Iota for our attendance number to be greater rather than lessor . . . and now you have the reason that virtually every school spends more money and jumps through more hoops to have the larger attendance figure rather then the smaller one . . . KK I know you understand that" . . .

I definitely agree. I mean all very obvious statements that are pretty common sense. Trust me if every AD had his choice he would have every non conference road game within a short driving distance both home and away to maximize attendance. Unfortunately there are to many egos in the game to do that. Any AD that isn't doing that should be fired.

My response that you called fruits were just examples of real life obstacles that our AD's go through in scheduling that keep them from getting good regional opponents that would generate more interest and ticket sales than some we have brought in in the past like NMST and OU. Clearly you can see how a Tech, Tulane, Memphis would generate more local interest than Ohio? But those egos get in the way. You get that right.

Thats why you end up with Ohio and New Mexico st on your schedule when you’d rather play a Tech , Tulane, Memphis, Tulsa, and other more regional match ups.

PS don’t come to me with your apples and oranges BS. Not in to that.
Can those apples be bobbed in that cold tub plunge?

He makes absolutely no sense and proves he knows nothing about college athletics every day. He’s just here for the pod shots.
KajunKrazy is very familiar with that guy. Trust me he knows him very well outside of RP.

Yep. And I am still spot on about your comments, they offer nothing to the conversation. You represent you law degree very well as well on here.

I have not disagreed with anything you have posted here except for the fact that I have not passed or taken a position on any of it. Yes, scheduling is hard (home and on the road) . . . recruiting is hard . . . Getting to the right bowl is hard . . . my only point and I have stayed consistent to that narrow point is that for each of these intangibles, it is better to have a higher attendance figure than a lower one . . . I never said that the number was no 1 influencing any of them or even that it moved the needle in any specific intangible . . . only that a bigger number is always better than a smaller one . . . and that is why we go through the trouble and expense to come up with that higher number as opposed to the number reflective of butts in the seats . . . no MORE, no LESS . . .

Well yes this is the common since no brainer part. I don't think anyone would argue with that.

Tickets sold is the way everyone counts today and gives you a better picture of dollars generated. Agree.

One guy on this site mentioned that he like to play scrabble and wheel of fortune. I can't remember who it was that said they do.
