Loved seeing CMD and family front-and center cheering on our basketballers.

They shot 56% from 3 and 52% for the game. I will agree, I thought we played pretty good defense but both teams had to hit some tough shots.

With 10 minutes left, Tech was at 60% overall and 62% from the three.

They ended up as you said. Defense must have gone on lock-down in those last 10 minutes.

And now I'm gonna say this with great trepidation. There is a post on the tailgating thread that the students were tailgating outside the Dome before the game and were chased off.

This just seems a little inconsistent with how geeked y'all seem over the student participation.

Did anybody hear anything about this (other than on this board)?

I was impressed with the depth and size of Tech's team. I didn't think we would be able to come back when we went down 11. That was a very exciting game and being in new seats near the court made it really awesome. Glad I renewed season tickets!

Looking forward to seeing Fr C.White get his game together as he gets more experience. He's a nice looking small forward or big guard and has a nice stroke, just needs the game to slow down a bit and relax. Least, that's my take.

Also, here's hoping Kobe will come back in December ready to play and be another scoring option off the bench.

Those young kids have no idea what you were talking about. It takes someone me and your age to appreciate what you just wrote. It's interesting the student section is no longer behind the opposing team's bench. At least, I don't think it is.
