I can't argue with that. Hopefully a fresh new stadium will bring a whole new attitude to the community and the people marketing the program. It is just stale right now.

Outside of the football, if you're saying stale is the same as boring, you're right...People today, don't want boring...all it takes to fix that, some money and imagination. And the assets needed are avialable within 25 miles of CF.

If that hard data suggests that, I'd be willing to listen. But I find it hard to believe more people show up at 6:00 than at 4:00 just because of "options." There aren't many options outside of bars and restaurants for the average family living in Acadiana.

You are not wrong, but diehards look at it through the lens of going to every game being a given. So great weather is the best option for attendance. That is only true if you are already going.

Great weather is not an attraction when all you are going to do is passively sit and nod from left to right.

If I'm not mistaken Esqueleto is the kind of fan who will attend every game, everywhere, no matter how bad the weather, no matter what time of day or night. So yeah he will appreciate perfect weather after seeing the lighting delays UL has gone through.

But the never been to a game or the one game a year crowd don't think that way.

Turbine, if you were talking about an 11 Am, or noon start I could see your point. But 4 PM is an outstanding time to come out & enjoy a game. In fact, I have no problem with any time between 2:30 & 6 PM. After that it becomes a chore driving home, especially if you live 50-100 miles away.
