ACT should be at least 25
3.2 high school GPA at least.

Even some of the graduate admissions are very low.

Example: MBA program only requires 2.5 GPA for the GMAT to be waived. So if you’re a ‘C’ student, we’ll waive your GMAT and let you in. This should not be a ‘C’ student University.

As far as I know, we still have the highest admission standards of any public university in the state. It’s been that way for about 10 years

No. And haven’t been for about 10 years. They lowered theirs to increase enrollment. We raised ours to get to R1. Academically we are going in different directions.

UL’s admission requirements are too easy. Smart kids do not want to enroll here.

Based on Student Homecoming attendance, this is the least of our problems. We need engaged students that become future fans and supporters of our university.

Another issue. Our alumni don’t go for high earning jobs after graduating unless they majored in comp science or petroleum.
