No team and no coach has a game day strategy until one is ascribed to them by RP after the game.
That is what is done here and a damn good job is done of it.

Attention to detail has been MIA in this program for a long while..
I’m getting kind of tired of him using his interviews to talk about what our record “should be.” It’s like clockwork at this point. Nobody gives a ____. We lost those games because we didn’t do the little things right. Didn’t finish the game. Our record is what it is. Talking about how close we are to being 13-2 or X-Y won’t change that
It's bizarre to listen to. The players are working hard, playing to their abilities in most cases. Some of the in game moves are head scratchers. I think the record 2/3 through a schedule is a reflection of any team, including this one.
I am still waiting for an interviewer, any interviewer to ask a semi-tough question?
I get the feeling he is actually talking to himself and selling himself we are better than the record and can make a run.
The adage is baseball teams will lose a third of the games and win a third of the games, and the season is decided in the remaining third of the games.
We are 7-9 away from the Tigue, if we are better than the record, you are correct and we need the record to start catching up to ability starting Friday. Stranger things have happened.
