TX RB Robinson pretty much beat us along with us beating ourselves with some key flat out dropped passes. Boy we are missing our Running game, but give TX credit. They flat out beat us. I never really felt we were in the game to be honest. Time to move on and go undefeated the rest of the year and get that SBC championship in Lafayette!

This what I meant by saying we’ve hit the limit as a program with our passing game. It’s not all the QB’s fault.

The question remains, however, is the passing game designed this way due to the skill set of the QB or is this just what Napier prefers.

What is obvious is that this offense depends on a very strong running game. I think we got away from that a little too early today.

Bottom line is that we will not be very successful against quality programs if we can’t make the defense respect the QB.

Agree. Criticism is warranted across the board but until your staff is having LL target Lacy more and get Chris Smith on the outside versus running up the ____ing A gap every time I won't be convinced that LL can't make big plays.

I’m trying to remember all these over throws. I saw one for sure, but I also saw 3 flat out dropped passes on key 3rd downs. Good thing is we didn’t turn it over until the end, but neither did TX. We needed them to turn it over to stay in the game and gain a couple of possessions which is probably why Napier did the onside kick in the 3rd which was very questionable to do that so early. Either way the way we played, we were not winning that game. Good Cajun fan turn out for a road game, although they were pretty much hidden in the upper deck. Amazing how Texas tucks the away crowd away up there but it’s very smart. Out of sight out of mind.

He looked terrible. Sorry to say that. Not sure why we didn't see Rogers, Fleming and Lacy more in the early parts of the game.
