Is it just me but does anyone think we can surprise LA tech this year at the dome. They were trash last season, but still managed to beat us, but I love their Transfers. We almost had both of them. Magnum Rolle from LSU his brother is Valentino Hart and was in Lafayette for awhile and was about to sign with us and Kenny Cooper the big man who verbally committed to us a couple years back from Richwood and then signed the Ok state. And also the have another Transfer from LSU DJ Wright from reports he is a 6'7 shooting guard. So the Cajuns will have to bring their "A" game the first game of the season. _

Roberson is a no show and has not made the grades last we heard so we have no Roberson. T. Johnson came on strong last year and he will play more than you think. I agree about Gary. I disliked him and heard negative things coming out of high school. He has done nothing but impress with his time here. He plays hard as hell and does whatever coach asks of him. You are right. He is out of position as he should be a #3 and will probably play there more this year with our infusion of big guys. I was not a fan of bringing in Batiste. I'm sure he is a good kid but there is better talent we could have brought in. Heck, if this spot was open, we could have offered Marcus Simmons after he was leaving USC.

I am excited for McCoy as we need a true penetrator who can distribute the ball to the shooters and let Daigle do what he does best and that is shoot. I'm getting 4 season tickets this year. I'm excited and I think 2009 will be a killer year.

Maybe you are correct. As of a few days ago, he was not here or at least that was what I heard and read. I hope he IS here and whatever was going on has been cleared.

Roberson has been on campus since the spring semester. Have not heard of any issues regarding his eligibility. The Cajuns will utilize his versatility. In fact, ESPN.com recently mentioned him as one of the transfers to watch out for in 2008-09 in NCAA Division I men's basketball.

I think you are confusing Ferguson with Roberson. Ferguson did not get the grades.
