_ Sorry to burst the bubble on the collegehoops.net top 144 but the cajuns aren't in there, they have Western Kentucky as #1 Sunbelt at #80 overall. Also South Al. was #103 and ULM #133.

I'm fine with being a sleeper and frankly I wouldn't expect to this team to get any national attention. Alot of the Talent has never on this team has never put on a Cajun uniform before and its not like Gradnigo and Bureau put up amazing numbers as freshman, you had to follow the program closely to see the potential there.

Thanks for the info Diddy, if what you said about Roberson is true it makes my crazy theory on redshirting Bureau more plausible. _

I would agree that #2 or #3 would be fitting. Depends on how these guys work out for LA Tech. I don't even know how good LSU will be. New coach ussually proves to be a down year.

Hopefully some on the current roster redshirt and the guys who sat out
thier freshman year are on track to get the fifth year back or we will be
starting a fundraiser to get flowers for senior day next year. 10 juniors,wow.
I know Lee has academics under control but dealing with the NCAA and youngsters to accomplish all 3 getting an extra year seems like a bit of a gamble.

Cajundome is not available to us at that time. A new scoreboard is being installed.

Is it just me but does anyone think we can surprise LA tech this year at the dome. They were trash last season, but still managed to beat us, but I love their Transfers. We almost had both of them. Magnum Rolle from LSU his brother is Valentino Hart and was in Lafayette for awhile and was about to sign with us and Kenny Cooper the big man who verbally committed to us a couple years back from Richwood and then signed the Ok state. And also the have another Transfer from LSU DJ Wright from reports he is a 6'7 shooting guard. So the Cajuns will have to bring their "A" game the first game of the season. _

Thanks. We just have to hope that Adeife keeps his emotions and temper in check. There is a reason he is here and not UNLV. Roberson is a no show and has not made the grades last we heard so we have no Roberson. T. Johnson came on strong last year and he will play more than you think. I agree about Gary. I disliked him and heard negative things coming out of high school. He has done nothing but impress with his time here. He plays hard as hell and does whatever coach asks of him. You are right. He is out of position as he should be a #3 and will probably play there more this year with our infusion of big guys. I was not a fan of bringing in Batiste. I'm sure he is a good kid but there is better talent we could have brought in. Heck, if this spot was open, we could have offered Marcus Simmons after he was leaving USC.

I am excited for McCoy as we need a true penetrator who can distribute the ball to the shooters and let Daigle do what he does best and that is shoot. I'm getting 4 season tickets this year. I'm excited and I think 2009 will be a killer year.
