Players get full credit service time in 2020. 1 day on the roster = 2.8 days service time.

sorry just to clarify. that mean they get a full year if on the roster for the 60 games, my question was do they get service time if they had been on roster since spring training, for apr may jun, etc. even if off roster before 60 games started? or maybe after game two or three?

my understanding is service time is awarded for reg season and playoff games only.

Since he spent little time on an active roster this year, he will likely do what is needed to find a spot for next year. He had offseason neck surgery to fix a disk that hurt him the past three years. He has an invite to Phillies spring training. He is still a very serviceable back-up option for many teams.

Any idea where Luc stands with years of service today? We're all pulling for him I'm sure. Obviously he is still well respected, hope he can get on a team and make his 10.

Unless you get zero time for being on a playoff roster, I wonder if that is current? 9.16 matches the numbers Dad04 mentioned before last year. And he made the Phillies playoff roster. I know he had zero stats for 2020
