I went to a place in Arlington during a road trip in 2019. I had bought a bottle of Wellers, a bottle of Angel's Envy and a bottle of Very Old Barton. It came to a little over $100. When I checked out I asked about Blanton's. The lady said, "Oh, we have it in the back. We sell it to people who spend at least $100. Bingo. She charged $69. A tad high, but I was willing to pay it.

I also love Jefferson's Ocean. It's expensive ($75-$85). I had football SID Josh Brunner and his girlfriend to the house a couple of weeks ago. Josh and I killed an entire bottle. Replaced it yesterday on my trip to Champagnes.

Seeing as your a AE drinker and I love it also, let me know how the Heavens Door is. Im curious about it too.

I gave it a try. I'd drink it again, but not at that price. It is, at best, a $30 bottle in my opinion.

Thanks. I picked up a bottle of the the Sazerac Rye. First time I've sampled a straight rye. Enjoying it for sure.

Nu Nu s is the best!!! The short guy, forget his name, is helpful and knowledgeable in all things alcohol. Great pork skins too. IPA'S selection is a grown mans chucky cheese.

Oh yeah! Agree, that guy is the best. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
