I would not say they are not ready for D1 ball, at some schools they would be playing a lot. I did not expect them to be part of the regular rotation here this season but with the three others out I think they will be needed.

We would have brought him but he only lasted 4 innings at the Astros game a few weeks before

He does well at Cajun Field because we can walk around with him and he loves to play in the grass on the hill.

Lanny, these baby boomers had it made bro. They just made their wives eat schit on a daily basis. Bedroom and kitchen. Wash / rinse / repeat.

We have women that don't put up with that in this generation. I stopped trying to explain these things to baby boomers a long time ago.

My wife also likes to watch the game I would have felt like an ___ if she was stuck on the concourse of the Superdome walking around with the kid

Yeah, I know you talked about the child later. But your original post when the time was changed did not mention a child...only that you weren't going because it wasn't at the time you wanted.

You mean you boys are whipped! I have 30 years in mine, she's worth gold compared to some of these melinial women.

On our end we have a lack of D1 experience throughout the squad and are banged up. In addition to the loss of Caldwell, Tirus Smith is out with a health issue that has not been made public. Also, Jay said today than recent transfer Calvin Temple has been ruled ineligible for this season for now. Strange in that he left because his coach was let go for an off the court issue. Having said all that, I am sure there will be a lot of criticism of the program if the Cajuns don't blow them out. I think it is premature to draw too many conclusions whatever happens. A blowout will not indicate a good season to come and a close game does not mean a poor season will result. It is simply the first game and adjustments will be made following the contest regardless of what occurs.
The last I checked Loyola NO is not division I. Most of their players didn’t have legitimate division I options.

Basically our team is supposedly loaded with division I talent, and lots of practice time together. This game shouldn’t be closer than a 20+ point victory regardless of missing several players who never played for us.

There are a couple of D1 transfers on Loyola, one from Florida. Still I get your point of being disappointed if game is competitive at end of contest.
