Personally, I'm somewhat sad to see it go. I thought it was a good effort. Not perfect, but distinctive.

IMO somehow it was a mess when viewed in small snippets which most basketball games are seen in. When seen as a full picture it’s great. Don’t know how exactly to explain it. I’m more excited about a more traditional look than regretful about the apparent failure of the swamp scene.

Glad they didn't use the money to buy something else for UL athletics. I would have hated to see them spend it on something that helps us win games.

They could have bought some nice home games for the fans with the money wasted on new floor designs every 3 years

They should have never spent the money to do the swamp scene. Whats wrong with a regular floor.

When I first saw the swamp scene online, it looked like the court was undergoing repairs. Then I did a double take.

The swamp scene was a mistake. They realized it early. I'd be willing to bet there was some private fund raising to fix it as it never looked right. They wanted to make the cajundome floor unique like Boise St in football and they did for all the wrong reasons.

Kudos to them for fixing it.
