According to the news article this is just a resurfacing. It will be the same floor.

Not really. The article says it will be a "much-cleaner design" that "emphasizes the Ragin' Cajun brand." Not sure what it means, but it seems that the swamp design will be either gone or redone in a cleaner manner. It's cagey possibly because UL is being that way.

I saw that line, too. But that directly contradicts what's written toward the top:

Out is the swamp mural scene that was introduced in November 2016, three seasons ago, as part of a $21.2 million Cajundome renovation project.

In: a much-cleaner design.

I mean, I could be wrong, because the article is confusing. But I think that's what it says.

......A very bad idea is corrected....worked 20 years with design concepts.....some are great and receive awards.....some, as in this case, can be corrected.....looking forward to seeing the new floor!
