Not me. I'll take a one point win.
Since I joined the radio network in 1992, the Cajuns have won exactly EIGHT road non conference games. Five of those wins came against Tulane (2), Arkansas State, ULM and Louisiana Tech.
Since Jake left, the Cajuns have won three non conference road games: Houston (06), Kent State (11) and Akron (13).
I'll be ecstatic just to have a happy flight home.
The CAJUNS could win on a whim this time...

I think going off my preseason prediction I have the Cajuns losing this one (and the following three actually). QB play was the difference in every winnable but not favored to win game last year in the regular season. I haven’t seen much of anything in the first three weeks to say we are gonna be able to throw the ball down the field successfully. Would love to be wrong. This team is on the cusp of something special and a 10 win season if we get above average QB play. I’m in full on believe it when I see it mode and hope to see it Saturday.
Ohio 31
Cajuns 24
With the exception of obvious mismatches like last week, I am happy with any one point win. Winning any game is difficult and every victory should be celebrated. Recall half the teams lose every week. It is amusing to me when I hear people say we need to focus on winning to solve some our problems. It’s not like all of our opponents haven’t come to the same conclusion
Mike, sometimes you need to read between the lines and understand the context of that statement. When people say it, or least the people I know are generally speaking in terms of game promotions, ticket sales and attendance. So if you believe that our athletic department has done pretty much everything possible trying to drive ticket sales and attendance at your events, then yes at that point it literally comes down to wins and losses. People in general, outside your core fan base do not attend college or professional sporting events of teams that are losing. They don't see your product or brand worthy of their entertainment funds.
So when you hear me, or someone else say we need to focus on funding our program and creating a winning tradition, we are stating there is not much else the athletic administration can do to get butts in the seats, outside of winning.
