People, we are not 'supposed to win' this game. We are underdogs, it is a road game against an historically successful program, it is a very well coached team, it has the best QB in the MAC featured in it, and we have yet to play a complete game against a peer opponent.
I'm thrilled our fans think we should win. I'm just surprised by the confidence.
My response wasn't directly to you. I'm very optimistic. But I will stop short of 'expecting' to win. Maybe in year 3-4 of the Napier regime, I'll expect to win these games, but considering where we are with our roster right now, I can't say that for Saturday.
If we do win, I won't be running around screaming NY6 either. This would be a very nice win for Napier and our program at this stage in the rebuild, nonetheless.

Cautiously optimistic about this game. Their QB REALLY scares me. If our LB/QB play is anywhere close to decent, I think we will be pleasantly surprised with the outcome
