Secretariat was a generational type of competitor that wanted dominate in every race. I haven't see that
LL so far. If we're going to use horse racing analogy I would say he is more like last year's Improbable.
For those that don't remember, Improbable became the odds on favorite to win the preakness because the controversial winner of the Kentucky Derby as well as the other the other top finishers didn't make it to Pimlico. Improbable's trainer at the time said that he was a good horse but had some things that need to improve. Improbable looked the part but never won any of his previous races. Inevitably, Improbable stumbled out of the starting gate, recovered but could never catch the lead horse.
We will soon see how Levi's chapter in Cajun football history is written. Has he improved from a decent change of pace QB to a ready to go leader. Or is he gonna stumble out the gate (MSU) and let the young ponies get a jump on him. Is he going to go down in history as a champion or just a footnote that only us sports nerds remember
