Did you sneak into the scrimmage to be able to make that observation?

LL so far. If we're going to use horse racing analogy I would say he is more like last year's Improbable.

For those that don't remember, Improbable became the odds on favorite to win the preakness because the controversial winner of the Kentucky Derby as well as the other the other top finishers didn't make it to Pimlico. Improbable's trainer at the time said that he was a good horse but had some things that need to improve. Improbable looked the part but never won any of his previous races. Inevitably, Improbable stumbled out of the starting gate, recovered but could never catch the lead horse.

We will soon see how Levi's chapter in Cajun football history is written. Has he improved from a decent change of pace QB to a ready to go leader. Or is he gonna stumble out the gate (MSU) and let the young ponies get a jump on him. Is he going to go down in history as a champion or just a footnote that only us sports nerds remember
I like the horse analogy because neither can throw a football

Levi improved quite a bit from year 1 to year 2. Wouldn’t you agree? I don’t think any of us can accurately project his ceiling at this point. I really hope he has a great year as he seems like a great kid.

It's hard to get worse from what he showed at the George southern game ... However I 100% agree he is probably a really great kid and tremendous leader but this is FBS football it's about winning games and nothing else

Unless we have some seriously improved pass blocking, every QB we have is going to stumble against MSU. If Levi’s passing is marginally better and is willing to commit to running the football a little more on a read option, we will Be hard to stop offensively.

Napier is going to do what it takes to win the most games possible. That much we know, so if he plays Levi then I think it’s safe for us all to believe the he is our best option. If he doesn’t yield results we will find out who the next guy is.

Hawkins threw for 7 yards and an INT in the scrimmage, so I doubt it

I’m telling y’all, if we are in the top third of the Sun Belt in defense we will win 9 games.

Well we will be underdogs in five of our first seven. We'll see.
