regardless whomever the new coach is, out of respect for Coach Robe, the university etc. we need to support him 100%

Just this. 2020 will be the most emotional season in maybe forever. The team needs help. Naming the new guy will go a long way getting legs under them. Does not sound like that is too far off.

Seems more or less like he ranked them:
Deggs, Gautreau, Hill, Riser/Bab/Cannizaro

At the end he said he would be surprised if it wasn’t Deggs though

Hill is not someone I had even thought about, but probably should have.

Degg's would be the obvious choice, the question is does he want the position? Some comments from his time here this past week suggest he has reservations filling Coach Robe's shoes. How, I'm not certain.

I think anyone applying for this job should have reservations about trying to fill Tony's shoes. If he doesn't, he is probably not the right person for this particular job.
