I would grab the scholly with both hands. The coaches signed them. It's on the coaches, which has been discussed all season.

Everybody know the coaching staff mismanaged recruiting, cut players through should have kept, kept players they should have cut, coached counterproductive hitting technique for three full seasons and succeeded in emptying a new $20 million ballpark.

Absolutely it’s on the coaches and publicly speaking bad on the players they recruited wouldn’t be taking personally responsibility. Remaining professional and trying to fix things for next season is the right thing to do and that’s what they did. It just baffles me sometimes what some people expect coaches and even local media to say publicly. If the media and coaches trashed everyone when things don’t go well, who would want to commit to 4-5 years of that? Anyway, got the W let’s keep fighting and see what happens

When coaches are stuck in a crappy season, there are too many chances to sound stupid with a bad record in the background. There is nothing they can say that makes sense with a losing record.

You are correct. Robe has been mentioning turning over the roster more lately, letting them know results have consequences. Honesty is a good thing.

Yhe starting 9 next year will look very different. Maybe 2 from this line up?

I do not have any insight into that. Only he (and maybe Robe) knows. Hoping he can go again Thursday (one inning). Fortunately Leger only threw 13 pitches tonight (3.25 per out).

Gunner completely outclassed those guys. It’s easy to forget just how easy he made it look when healthy

If there is any justice, he is drafted by an organization that will finish his rehabilitation.

Looking where we were at 3 weeks ago we at least have given ourselves as good a chance as any other SBC team.

Crazy that with a win tomorrow we will be back at .500. A gambling man would quote a poor record in those games to get to .500 this year.

I think we are a scary 8 seed to play though.
