These stats all sound good for us, but man in the conference tourny anything can happen. We've seen worse pitchers dominate us before. I hope our guys are ready to mash no matter who is on the mound. I ain't counting any chickens before they hatch.

Agreed, the problem with Young is that he has been very good and very bad. We need the very good one today. He can not give up free bases, opponents are hitting .212 vs Young on the season and .196 in conference play. His biggest issue is free bases. If he eliminates that he can be unhittable.

The free base part yes, but not the unhittable part. The fact is other pitchers we have give up free bases and hits, Young has not done that very much this year, it has been all free passes.

we actually want ULM to win this, I believe if I am not mistaken if they win they have to play #1 seed Texas State, which means if we win we get Georgia Southern the #2 seed.
