Thats an interesting point. Next level thinking right there. Can you recruit?

This year, sometimes, we have even struggled with that strategy. We are even having a difficult time recruit bunters these days.

    I also don't comprehend the either/or philosophy.

Allowing as few runs as possible and scoring as many as you can (simultaneously) seems like a much better model.

Maybe someone should let Robicheaux know if you score more runs than the other team, you'll win. He could put that in his book. Wait, too late, he already wrote his book. Shucks!

Gonna be interesting to see how many fans fall for the recruiting BS. Not gonna recruit your way outta this mess with this coaching staff. Hit .242 last year. Hit .266 year before. Hitting .266 this year.

They can blame the players all they want, but it's on the coaches. No pitching and no hitting.

Many fans are coming around, but Robe has his ardent supporters (same as ML has his ardent supporters). They take Robe's word as gospel. Many see the BS coming out of Robe's and Bab's mouths these days, however, there are many who will take the BS given out and believe it as the absolute truth and continue to accept the downward trend.

No one is accepting it, some just want to see the current staff turn it around. Some give the head coach that had us #1 in the nation a handful of years ago a longer leash. Not a crazy way of thinking based on our history the last couple decades. If things don’t get turned around soon some of the more patient supporters will also throw in the towel and expect changes. Many are not there yet.

I'd have to check but my gut tells me Well's method (hitting) is paying off in the second half of the season.

If I'm not mistaken Degg's didn't have first half year results that indicated 2014 was going to be as good as it was.

    Not a fair comparison.

One is sports game philosophy related, the other is not.

Heck.....this year I'd like to keep the opponents big innings to 3 runs......
