He mentioned how fans would always complain that all we did was pitch but we needed to recruit hitters. He said:

"I don't recruit, my recruiting coordinators recruit" and then finished it up with maybe now fans will see how important pitching is.

So basically we allowed this program's worst hitting coach of my lifetime find and recruit all of the players on this team? And we're still confused about why we suck?

Which is why I asked. I can't remember the last time he went out and actively recruited.

Well if he’s not doing so now, then he needs to re-evaluate his choice of profession.

He may want to cancel interviews and the coach’s show for the rest of the season. And Bab cancel his weekly radio appearance.

Robichaux has allowed his loyalties to failing people drag his program down to where we may not even make the tournament. That's beyond unacceptable.

Everybody knows we suck. Robe refuses to fix it, he deserves whatever the school chooses. I'm done wasting my time ranting about a crappy team the head coach refuses to fix.

We can be stubborn, frustrating and have a “football expectation” mentality where we always expect our teams to win... but his response was disappointing and not what I expected to hear from him. It’s not our fault. But it’s ok to have expectations. And when things don’t meet our expectations, it’s ok to voice them. Oh wait... I am supposed to accept it because it’s baseball and it’s just different... BS.

That is actually good advice. Nobody is buying their recruiting bs. When the media and a losing team start blaming the paying fans, its time to shut up.

Hopefully, he is signaling the recruiting disaster is coming to an end and he will finally bounce Talbot. Maybe when Talbot destroyed the pitching staff, that was the last straw.

Interesting he said in two interviews this week he doesnt go out and recruit.

Is he saying this horrible roster is not his fault? If so, why has he not fixed the problem?

Maybe he is signaling the recruiting disaster is about to end with Talbot getting the boot.
