I agree. It was a fun game and a fun win. It means nothing in the big picture with the exception of hopefully giving us some confidence and momentum going forward. UTA is playing really good ball. We need to play well to win the series.

I think it means something going forward. We’ve gotten a handful of big hits this year and the kids were excited. Last night, the dugout exploded, the crowd exploded. I think it’s because Handy got the hit.

You know as well as I do, on some teams, certain guys’ success can ignite the whole roster. I think Handy is capable of that. The team loves him. They also love OV and that moonshot was a statement.

Michael Lotief can't stand LSU. He also can't stand Robe and the baseball team.

I agree. When I said it doesn't meaning anything I was referring to rankings/getting an at-large bid. This one win doesn't change that we need to win our conference tournament to get in.

That's why I added that it hopefully gives us some confidence and momentum going forward because wins like this can be signature for igniting a team. I also agree that when Handsome has success, it does seem to elevate everyone else on this roster.
