I think it means something going forward. We’ve gotten a handful of big hits this year and the kids were excited. Last night, the dugout exploded, the crowd exploded. I think it’s because Handy got the hit.

You know as well as I do, on some teams, certain guys’ success can ignite the whole roster. I think Handy is capable of that. The team loves him. They also love OV and that moonshot was a statement.

I agree. When I said it doesn't meaning anything I was referring to rankings/getting an at-large bid. This one win doesn't change that we need to win our conference tournament to get in.

That's why I added that it hopefully gives us some confidence and momentum going forward because wins like this can be signature for igniting a team. I also agree that when Handsome has success, it does seem to elevate everyone else on this roster.

I honestly believe you do hate LSU. I believe you hate LSU just as much as you hate Coach Robe.

I wish I could find the perfect example to explain this to everyone else, but I can't. The closest example I can find is:

Michael Lotief can't stand LSU. He also can't stand Robe and the baseball team.

So you see everyone, there is a situation where someone can actually hate both LSU and UL baseball. So from here on out, let's all just consider DuckmannUSLGrad to be Michael Lotief. Doing this will help you see exactly where this guy is coming from.

It's funny, LSU can use the excuse about all of there injuries and that is why they lost to lowly UL....

But meanwhile we can use the fact that the following players are out:

Sebastian Toro, Jonathan Windham, Gavin Bourgeois, Austin Bradford

And the following players are limited in rolls or playing hurt:

Daniel Lahare, Gunner Leger and Dalton Horton. I am sure there are more of these but these are the ones I know of.

First off, I am a graduate of the school and more that anything else I want us to be successful in baseball, football and basketball. The other sports do not interest me as much but I hope we win Sun Belt and NC in all of those to; however, I do not really care as much about them. I guess I am not a big softball person because my kids are all boys so I never really had a reason to get involved / watch it.

And as far as your stupid statement about Mike L and I, what next, I guess I am a Russian spy. I love how some here keep making up stuff....went from I was a secret LSU fan to now I am buddies with freaking Mike L the former softball coach who DESERVED to GET Fired. Ironic thing is, when he got fired majority of members here on the site and it would not surprise me you were one of them at the time were crying about it saying that the AD could never find another replacement and the softball program would go down the crapper. Well suprise....suprise. it did not and the team is rolling right along. Now if you to believe I am a Mike L spy and or friend of his well go right ahead! LMAO!

Look, I have nothing against Coach Robe nor any other coach here currently on staff now or in the past regardless of the sport. For the record, I think Marlin deserves to get let go more than any other current Cajun coach. I even posted in a thread earlier in the week that Coach Robe deserved / earned making it into the college baseball HOF (but I hate the guy...LOL). No, I do not hate him, I just do not have this love affair / friendship with him like some do. And by God if you do not, you are the enemy according you and others.

I look at it as a business. My belief is you do not mix friends and business! Now maybe your belief is different. Since, I do not think Coach Robe is the greatest coach to sit in a college dugout and think that the program would never have success with another coach like apparently you and some others on here do it makes me a Coach Robe hater. I just wanted to set the record straight! It is about results not friendship! And now it seems the Coach Robe Crew is lowering the bar now where just having a winning season as being successful where it used to be making a regional!
