In some regards, that wouldn't be a bad thing, BUT, I feel like he may be the type of guy that wants to see how far he can take this program. Not saying we could keep him for a long time, but I don't see him bailing in 3-4 years unless he feels we are topped out.

Don’t think it’s a bad thing either but the world of sport is copy cat, Napier learned from Saban and Dabo, he has articles written on him regularly about what he has going on here. I don’t see it as him bailing as much as i see the big money come calling quickly. Satterfield and Brown moved on pretty quickly and neither come from anything close to the tree Napier comes from. So far, everything appears he does it the right way also.

That’s all gonna depend on the job offered and the money. Couldn’t see him passing an sec offer to stay here. Could see him passing up a Duke, Wake Forest or Kansas type job and waiting for something better.

Our coach lost 4 SBC games and people already have him taking a P5 job because we are finally not rated in the bottom quartile of recruiting. Lets see if Napier can win a game against a more talented team. So far that has not happened.
Love our coach, but he is not done anything to warrant getting a more high profile job. Last year showed we are not even close to being good on defense or QB. We all expect improvement, but we are a ways away from being a G5 power.

Btw, it was a fantastic write up. Probably one of the best I’ve seen on the Cajuns.

Every year that passes where he accomplishes one of the above increases his odds of departure significantly.

Even Boise couldn't keep their guys. It's just the nature of the game. What Napier is doing however, is showing everybody that the intangibles here are through the roof, and the list of applicants for this job will be even better than when Hud left.

I'm just praying for 2 more signing classes with Nape before he cashes in.
