Hopefully we are on this list again next year.

There was nothing wrong with Hud's first year. The problem was he never improved upon that year. He was unable to capitalize on that years success. His recruiting did not improve and the program crashed. What we see in Napier can't be denied, yet, he can't rest on one years recruiting class and I don't expect he will. I totally expect improvement from here, and it's ok to identify it for what it is at this point and time. We will see where we are next year and I'm sure we will have plenty to say, positive and negative.
Hudspeth moved the needle and was rewarded for it what he did for this univ in the early years can't be underestimated. Now Napier is being paid a premium from jump street and is expected to move the needle once again if he is .500 his first 4 years he won't get extended that's called expectations.... Now will we go 25-25 in the next 3 years seriously doubt it
I think so as well Texas state is the only school in the west that worries me in the future... Ark state is about to hit rock bottom, ULM has peakes at 6-6 and South Al made an awful hire.
Out the east GS will be the standard, I think App will take a huge step down Troy as well, Costal is going to be nothing in football & GAST will continue to be a joke.
Once the summer camps and 7-on-7 football is over at the end of summer, we will get a better idea of what kind of depth the 2020 Class will h ave this fall. LSU and Alabama will still get the players at the top of the class. But if UL can win a championship this season, we will get more of the Top 50 players. The problem for us and all the other G5 programs in the state is how many of the P5 programs have connections in this state. Check out this year's signing class and look at the number of P5's signing athletes out of Louisiana.
