Rivalries Make Sports Interesting

I'd say we hold our own in the tailgating department. Can't say we compare to some die hard cajuns going at it, but we have a hell of a time pregame. I've spent many a home game dizzily walking around screaming my head off and dodging the fuzz, haha. But seriously, I like MTSU folks. I just like "hating" them more, lol. Rivalries are oh so much better when you can cuss and scream at their fans and be buddies later.

_ That's tough because we don't really have one team in conference that is a constant rival in every sport. I'd say MT has developed into a nice football rivalry and they are very good in women's basketball. But probably not as big rivals in baseball and basketball. WKU was a pretty good rivalry in basketball and baseball but they don't play football. Same with South AL. _

I'd have to say that MT vs. UL in baseball may be the biggest rivalry of the two schools. This year maybe not, but come tourney time MT vs. UL have been classics.

It is classic to you because MT beats us on our own field, when we are able to make our own tournament ...

Depends on what time of year you're talking about. Since today is the opening day of Louisiana's regional, I have to vote LSU. Next week, it will be Houston

UL and MT are definately not rivals. Rovals hate each other and I have never heard anyone say that they hate MT. I can honestly say that I hate LA Tech. Can't stand them and never will pull for them. I am not big on ULM either but I don't think they would be considered a rivalry.

My vote is for LA Tech.
