Believe it or not, the Hangover Burger at Twin Peaks is a really good burger also. One of my very favorites was at Teaks. They are no longer in business, but definitely one of the best. Their nachos were out of this world. My wife and I haven't found a place that has nachos that good anywhere.

The Hangover Burger at Walkons is pretty solid as well, but no where near the top of my list

As far as these egg on hamburgers go, the Good morning Broussard at Hook n boil is very good too

The jalapeño bun is perfect.
And their burger patty is so flavorful.

I asked Katelyn, who was taking my order what was the best thing on the menu and she said to try the redfish Mandez, as well. Will definitely do that next time.

One thing for sure, we are lucky here in Lafayette. We have so many different choices for burgers and other tyoes of food, it's almost embarrassing. Just think what they have in Ruston, Monroe or Alexandria.

It is an embarrassment of riches. I travel to those other places for work. Subway is usually the best meal in town.

The double cheeseburger with grilled onions and fried egg at Judice Inn is pretty damned tasty. I can eat two of those in one sitting they are so damned good.

Over rated. Not bad, but lots of better ones being made around town.
