Jeremy Talbot will not be a "go-hitting Coach". I have confirmed that twice, by two folks that are pretty important around here.

You ppl should be ashamed.. Why are we actively trashing our program? Now, nothing Robe has accomplished here is good? WTF is wrong with y'all?

Ashamed of what ? The truth ? Talbot WILL still be involved with the offense. Mark that down. And none of this is an attack on your boy Robe. You need to face the hard cold statistical facts that this baseball program is going backwards. Yes this program did really well from 2013 thru 2016 but you can’t and won’t make me believe that we have grown as a program off of the recent success. We haven’t recruited squat since Talbot has been here. If you can’t see that then you’re blind. I’ve been a season ticket holder now for several years and probably have forgotten more baseball than you know and just because you come on here like Mr. King of the Message Boards and disagree with people doesn’t mean we can’t state an opinion. You ask WTF is wrong ? Look at the last 2 seasons. Once you start accepting mediocrity, you’re done. Right now, this program isn’t near ready to play with the big boys. Not even close. Tell that to your sources.

Every single one of them stated that they respected him but had significant concerns about what was happening with the program.

I have heard the same from current/former players and I may be the least connected poster on this board.

I surely don’t have rock solid sources like some on here boast about who claim that you you can take their posts to the bank and degrade anyone who questions what they say (even though they are on the record as being wrong on hot topics several times).

This insight from current/former players is concerning to me. Robe is now steering a ship that is significantly larger than the one that he inherited. With the bills and expectations from fans that come with a new stadium maybe it is time for Robe to change the way he interacts with the fans? Just a thought....

mirrors or lucked into a couple wins is moronic. “My boy” has built a legit, nationally respected program. “My boy” is fixing the problem that all of you have been crying about since the last pitch of 2018. “My boy” makes mistakes and will tell you himself.

Again, he’s the only proven winner employed by this university.

Season ticket holder since way before that clown show of 2012. Remember when Matt Deggs came in and saved everybody’s ___ ? Yeah, way before that. I’ll leave it at that. And where in my previous post did I say anything about Robe winning with smoke and mirrors ? Again, this is not an attack on Robe but things need to change and change in a hurry. I respect Robe as a person as well as a coach but as someone posted earlier, the ship has grown much larger now and the heat is on in the kitchen. When you have past and current players that are concerned, even you can’t come up with an excuse for that. That’s called “reality”.
