In addition to recruiting I’m hearing Talbot will also be working closely with the car dealerships to try and grow the car show..his goal is to one day have it take up the entire athletic complex.

Just because your title is not recruiting coordinator does not mean you can not recruit. I actually think this can work. Most of the recruiting now days is done during the summer when both coaches can be out watching players. There is some recruiting done during the high school season which would and has taken the recruiting coordinator away from the team. So now we have a guy who can stay with the team during the season and have a guy chasing down players at the same time. And both can go out to recruit during the summers. This could work
☝🏻This is true
That's a fair question and I'll be happy to answer it. I thought Talbot should have exited immediately after the 2017 season. With 3 consecutive years of declining offensive numbers [I'll give him a pass in 2015 since 2014's numbers were so good], what other hitting coach in college baseball would have rode out that storm. But here's the bottom line that some of you may or may not know, Talbot is not a players coach. Period. End of story. This is fact, not BS. Over the past 4 years, players have not bought in one bit to what this guy was selling. In college sports, that's a recipe for disaster. There was a wall between him and his hitters and it was obvious. Enter Jake Wells who I have no clue about other than his bio and the fact that he was going to be the chosen one. I hope this young man comes here and lights a fire under not only the players but the remaining coaching staff [Including Tony]. This has been lost in the abyss since 2014. If this can't happen and happen soon, this new stadium won't be the only renovation that was needed.
