Like I said, I'll respect any argument that the ball didn't pass over the base because the play was very, very close and no one watching from that angle (camera man was not on the base line) could give a 100% definitive answer.

I won't, however, accept any ridiculous conspiracy theories alleging LSU was paying umpires or Cox was ordered to stop showing a replay, as they're unsubstantiated and ....honestly, bat_____ crazy.

Agreed tlsu. The play didnt seem that close from what I saw, and yeah Im angry and think there was some home cooking. Anyways it was nice having a spirited conversation with ya. At least you didnt use all caps to make your point.

To those who are saying that the umpires called a good game but missed a few calls... Do yall not realize the situations that they "missed" these calls in... They were all in big situations...

I'm an LSU alumni and a Loyola Law Alumni. Does that in any way make me biased as to finding it hillarious that you're trying to blame this game on umpires or allege LSU has umpires on the payroll? Time to take off the tinfoil hat and just accept that LSU played a much better and much more consistent game. No one is asking you to lay down, they're asking you to stop wining and making up unsupported, unsubstantiated excuses for your loss.

We have had horrible umpires all year. This is the only game that has spurred a 5 page posting spree. LSU beat us last night. If we can't overcome a bad call against a mediocre LSU team, then how are we going to handle bad fortune in a regional (assuming we even get to one) or even the conference tournament? The only reason people are b@#$*ing is because it was against LSU. I, along with a lot of people on this board, think that the world would be a better place if LSU were wiped off the face of the planet, but let's learn how to field a ground ball and swing the bat before complaining about the umpires.

Glass error #3: get over on a ball to the right side (pitching 101)

I agree with you 100% percent. If LSU dissappeared tomorrow into the Mississippi River I wouldnt blink twice. But all these fools blaming the umpires is Fn ridiculous. We didnt hit, field, or throw when we needed to!

I had a blast last night except for the final score. Not a single problem with lsu fans.
