25 in a row is one of the most amazing statistics I have ever seen in any sport. To happen in a sport like baseball defies logic. One day they will defeat the Cajuns but it won't be in 2018.

The way this team has turned things around is amazing. We went from possibly not making the tournament to being on the cusp of an at large bid. Was it the players stepping up at the plate on their own? Or JT coaching them up? Or just baseball evening things up after a terrible start? I don't have faith in the JT scenario considering the history of our offense since hes been here. I have the feeling like he will be back next year even if the only reason we turned things around was on the fortitude of the players.

For the large portion of the turnaround, the team was winning in spite of the bats, not due to their contribution.

With the arrival of the hitters, the sky is the limit this post season.

Finished the year 21-7 in the second half.
Literally gave away 4 of the 7 losses. On top of the 5-6 games we gave away in the first half. And IMO, we are just now finding ourselves offensively (moving Cantrelle to leadoff, Danny to 3rd, resurgence of Todd Hott)..

I don’t even think we know what our baseball team is capable of at this point.

Btw, the offense is not what’s going to win or lose the conference tourney / regional championship. It’s up to the bullpen.
