The only thing i'd like to see Cantrelle do better is throwing the ball to first base. He doesn't make a lot of errors, BUT he double clutches the throw almost every time. That added step in the mechanics isn't efficient and could cause errors or the runner to be safe in the bang bang plays.
Using an RPI to judge a team is as dumb as using stats from February and March to judge a team today.
Some of us actually follow the teams in the league. ULM competes and makes you play nine (and in the case of last night, ten) innings. They aren't great. But they are absolutely NOT terrible. Once again MAT was spot on in his assessment of them.
(Last year they were terrible.)
