I think last night highlights just how blazing hot LaHare was, and just how much he meant to the lineup in that time. Remember, McKinnon had a double and HR last night, Zach had a double, and Lott (while striking out a lot) also added a hit.

Kinda feels like we go offensively when Danny goes.

There starter was a bad match up for Lahare. Lefty with a strange delivery and sweeping breaking ball.

Lahare never seemed to find a pitch he liked with the starter. I believe he took his first four strikes.

I was sitting right behind him in the grandstand and he was not picking the ball up. You really saw it when he took strike 3 on the inner half of the plate but turned back like the ball was going to hit him. Just happens sometimes. He looked much more comfortable with their relievers although it seemed after the starter came out, their coach would bring in a new pitcher to face Lahare every time he was up.
