I can see how this might backfire as well. There’s going to be a point where people say **** this I’ll just watch the games at home. We need to make damn sure we don’t reach that point. We can’t afford to push away the casual fans.
Wrong again. When your community hates your football coach, ppl will protest with their wallets.

No way I will pay the $60, but I do support other people spending for that.
Of course you support other people spending money... Liberal even in his sports consumption 😉

    At least, that’s my guess.
That's the problem. I hate guessing. Let me know (USL) and stop the speculation.

You produce the longest run-on sentences in the history of the English language!

Now I’m a liberal! It must be tough being wrong all the time. You want to spend more for parking, be my guest. It is not may place to stop you from wasting money on parking. I will walk the two blocks and get an extra beer at the game.

That definitely factored into it no doubt. The local economy and a terrible home schedule (weeknight games and early kickoffs) also contributed to a lower demand

Things were much better for us fans when parking was simply first come, first serve. I miss those days. Just show up early in the morning, or even 4 hours before kickoff, and be able to park within 100 yards of the stadium.

I guess we could go back to the Southland Conference and save a bundle of money. I liked the convenience, too. But generally trhe product on the field was too often disappointing. I think we are headed in the right direction now. I can't deny that it will hurt in the pocketbook though.
