Make me understand something so I increase my donation to get better parking now I have to pay to have the better parking that I just upped my donation for. So if I decrease my donation which is more than the $60 for parking I can just pay it and get the better parking. I hope I don't have to pay by the parking pass two for tailgating and two for RCAF donation.

The bleeding will stop when there is no more blood to bleed. Ie supply and demand

Yeah that’s the thing though. I’m starting to wonder if they have a good understanding of supply and demand these days. Last year they HORRIBLY miscalculated how many people were willing to pay higher prices for tailgate spots. We went from having a waiting list to having like 70-80 open spots.

I can see how this might backfire as well. There’s going to be a point where people say **** this I’ll just watch the games at home. We need to make damn sure we don’t reach that point. We can’t afford to push away the casual fans.

I’m guessing you pay $60 for the pass(es) you qualify for. So if your giving level earns you a C pass, it’s $60; if your level earns you two D passes, it’s $60, etc. Basically it’s $60 to get the university to release your passes to you for football, other sports and pricing TBD.

    At least, that’s my guess.

Nope. You gotta make the donation to have the rights to pay the extra $60 to get your parking passes. Bottom line: It'll cost us an extra $60.

Most of this board goes to Saints games, and Astro games, and I won’t say Metry’s name but LSU GAMES, and pay $30 and $40 a pop to park.

Pay your extra $60 and enjoy your shorter walk to the games.
I have free parking for Saints. Would never pay $30. Also, I don’t go to college games very often. It’s been a couple of years. Attending LSU games is not on my radar... even with all the free tickets I get offered. Will probably catch a UL game this year. No way I will pay the $60, but I do support other people spending for that.
