For the love of GOD ALL MIGHTY. Robe has to see the internal decay taking place because of zero offence. Moral looks bad, If Robe don't make a move outside of blaming himself he will feel the brunt of everyone's frustration. Loyalty is great, but blind loyalty is just blind.

Unfortunately, I think it might need to come to that. I don’t understand how we continue to make mid-week pitchers look like all-Americans. From a distance - something doesn’t seem right and Talbot is the common denominator.

I beg to differ. For one, we have only played 15% of our schedule and conference is still two weeks away.

The players went in to the game last night thinking that this would be the game when the bats wake up. And the bats were worse than on Sunday. These guys come into our program knowing how to hit. For example, Monroe Moll batted .429 with 45 home runs in high school that played other competitive high schools. Todd Lott was drafted in the 19th round solelyfor his hitting ability and would have been drafted higher if he was more sign-able.

At this point I would almost rather no hitting coach and let these guys step in the box and do what they know how to do. Clean the slate on approach and start fresh.
