    Any other young man.

Hence the “a” and not a “the” in my previous post.
It’s all good man, difference of opinion. I disagree with the “look at me” generation. Social media has given these guys a false sense of their self worth and it’s up to the adults in their lives to check them. They play football, they arent fighting for their country over seas. It’s a game.

Will he be expected to fulfill his "commitment" to Louisiana?

Say we're in the Fall of 2019, and Coach Napier has put together 9-4 and 10-3 seasons, in addition to getting a number of 3 star and a few 4 star recruits to commit early. Kids who came here because of Coach.

    Coach Napier leaves for Tennessee.

Will we still hold those kids who made "commitments" to Louisiana to their word?
Scholarships are not a 4 or 5 year commitment the are renewable year by year and all party's are aware of it going in.

Not saying that I disagree with you. On the contrary I'm the ultimate homer. I think everybody should have to stay.

If the NCAA can tell schools how many coaches they can have then they should be able to step in on other issues, such as contractual obligations.

I'd like to see the NCAA Institute a rule assessing a penalty on an institution for basically stealing a successful coach from another institution and that penalty would go to the second institution.

With regard to the players, I'd do away with early signing. And if he would commit to us, I really want him to sign. But in a case such as this young man, if you don't want to be here I think we're all the better for it

Just looking at it from different perspective

I originally said the same thing, we are better off, the way he handled the situation was a red flag and we are probably better off.
