We had a great punter leave to be a back up somewhere beacuse of what was going on in the locker room .. I dont blame Tanner one bit

what was going on in the locker room that would cause this to happen? Look, I was for disbanding the football program because of the things that were publicly known about locker room antics and I would really like to think that the new coach will not allow this kind of behavior to continue.

Coutts, Holmes and Fuselier all left because of Hudspeth.

Man the locker room under Hudspeths tenure after year 3 was a mad house. The players could do whatever they wanted. There were numerous incidents with police and internal strife that led to what we saw. Anyone who denys this is a fool.

Many players left because of the way things were allowed to go on inside that building and the staff didn’t do much to stop it.

Totally in agreement. Hud did some great things. He made plenty of mistakes. He's gone. Let's not dwell on the past any more.

Because looking forward will make you much happier.

If Tanner's teammates have no problem taking him back in, I think that says a lot about the previous regime as well.

BTW regarding the "quitter talk", when Hud addressed the Tanner Holmes issue at a QB club meeting, he said Tanner was a quitter and quit on his team. He then went on an epic red-faced rant about how the fans that leave the games early are quitters and Hud wants no association with quitters. People shouldn't be quitters, they should be fighters like Hud was. I remember leaving that meeting bewildered.

Of course, even after the "blow out in Boone", did Hud quit, after most of the team quit trying in the game? Of cour$e not.
