No good in the red zone.

    He's not a fit.
    Meh!

You don't know whether or not he's a fit....

It up to the AD who will interview him and our President to decide by the interview process whether or not he fits....his resume certainly warrants an interview....

Maggard is running the show, with Alden as an adviser. You won't see another brother-in-law deal like Baldwin done with these guys. And who is to say Mike Houston is a fit for our program, we are all just looking at resumes?
Stokely played for LSU, he got his coaching PHD as offensive coordinator for national champion Clemson. LSU would love to unload Canada contract. But aside from that I definitely trust Maggard over RayRay. Remember Schex had a great coach lined up and cut off at the knees.

Coach "Gee" whom they named all mascots after for years, came from LSU.

    Canada's record....

Named OC NIU 2011. NIU 2011 MAC Champs.

Named OC Wisconsin 2012. Wisconsin 2012 BIG10 Champs.

OC NC State 2013-2015. 3 of the most productive offensive years in history of school.

Named OC Pitt 2016. Only offensive coach in the 5 finalists for Asst. Coach of the Year award.

Named OC LSU 2017. Turns completely dysfunctional offense around.

He's not just an x and o guru. He has a history of QB development (something we need?). At NC State he took a QB that had fizzled out elsewhere and turned him into the QB that is starting for the Colts, Jacoby Brissett. Also, he molds his offense to the talent on the field.

This would be a Rolls Royce hire.

They did fine until the interpreter quit.

He was fired/released by NC State after 2015 season, and has never been a head coach.

I'm ok if he wants to be OC here, but he will not last long if hired. We deserve better with a proven head coach.

This year most were complaining about the defense with their hands on their hips, well it could be that way with the offense next year with all his gimmick plays.

Ensminger was better than Canada at turning the offense around at LSU.

If it is an LSU guy at UL, I would go with Frank Wilson, but don't think he is a candidate.
